...one of my favorite pieces, more marine species jewelry coming soon....

: Meet jewelry artist, Bette Conway! For this "man-of-war" pendant/pin, Bette was particularly drawn to the ocean and marine life for her design. She finds that the new technologies in deep sea exploration and photography used today to be fascinating, adding to the inspiration in her metalwork. The visual element of the Indonesian chalcedony on the top of the piece provided added inspiration in its creation. Bette used the process of hand forming/forging, reticulation, bezel setting and wire wrapping to craft this unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
