Morgan Log House

Morgan Log House An 18th Century Log House Museum & National Register Historic Site.

Reflecting the lifestyle of early pioneers of Pennsylvania, the Morgan Log House is a meticulously restored example of early domestic architecture. The land originally owned and farmed by Edward Morgan, a Welsh Quaker, the Morgan Log House is currently administered by the Welsh Valley Preservation Society. The Museum exhibits many examples of fine furniture, metalwares, household implements and co

lonial period decorative arts from the early Welsh and German settlers to Pennsylvania. Today, this National Resister Site is open for tours, specials programs, and on-going research opportunities.
