"Approaching Sacre-Coeur", 11x14-inch oil on canvas panel. If you've spent time in Paris, chances are you've seen the Basilica Sacre-Coeur set on a bluff overlooking the city in Montmartre. This section of Paris is hilly, and was home to many famous artists, including Van Gogh, Picasso, Modigliani, and quite a few others. Bohemian artists populate a square near the Basilica, where they dress the part, and you can get your portrait drawn or purchase (generally bad) landscapes of the city.
