Join us today (4/3) as we celebrate 60 wonderful years in the community! This is our final gathering, and we’re making it one to remember!✨

The free closing reception is from 5-8PM, and we encourage guests to come dressed in their vibrant and most colorful apparel! 🎨🩷🧡💛💚💙

At this event guests will have the opportunity to:
🗣️ Reminisce and share stories from the past six decades.
🛍️ Support local MI artists one last time before they pick up their pieces.
🎨 Experience our final solo exhibit, Dog Days by Eve Holtsclaw, in the Mezzanine Gallery.
🎭 Get connected with local arts organizations and learn how to stay engaged in the arts community.
🎨 Participate in live auctions starting with ‘Embrace’ a sculpture by internationally renowned artist Mark Chatterley (valued at $14,000, starting bid $4,000). Any remaining pieces not sold from our permanent collection after 7PM will be live auctioned!

A sneak peek for tonight's 'Dog Days' a solo exhibition by Yve Holtzclaw! Reception 6-8PM (3/6/25).

Dog Days Statement by Exhibiting Artist, Yve Holtzclaw:

"For me, tension between a flatness and dimensionality reflects the surreal qualities of gender, growing up, and memory. The fabric I use has been donated or acquired from estate sales and personal use, and my ceramic surfaces have been fired repeatedly, often appearing cracked, textured, and bubbling like old paint, wallpaper, and broken sidewalks. It is important to me that the work captures the geology of everyday life, evoking a sense of circularity and impermanence."

This event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the artist while enjoying the work with fellow art lovers and community members!
