New Release — Into The Wild I Go
From the ancient lens of Ireland to Big Sur (Im taking my liberty)
Songs have interesting journeys. Long before big stages and bright lights, music was born on distant seashores, in someone’s home, or inside an Irish pub. It was danced, shared, and shaped by people with an insatiable desire to turn emotion into sound—first chords, then lyrics, and finally a performance.
It’s no different than art. The finished piece begins in the inner eye. It takes time. It takes patience. And then, quietly, the moment arrives—when the Mona Lisa finally steps into the room.
A little over a year ago, we traveled to Ireland for a wedding. And of course, when you go into the wild of Ireland, you go searching for the soul of the place. One evening we discovered the concert venue of Irish lore—an Irish pub—where music has lived long before stages ever existed. The same musicians played night after night, sharing stories through melody. No spectacle. Just truth. Just feeling.
That moment stayed with me.
When writing Into The Wild I Go, I wanted to carry that spirit through the ancient lens of Ireland to Big Sur—a place equally shaped by wind, water, and time. The rawness. The quiet pull. The way the land teaches you to listen. What better way to honor that than by mining the deep musical soul of Ireland and letting it echo across the cliffs of the Pacific.
At the heart of this song is a belief captured perfectly by Chris McCandless:
“You are wrong if you think Joy emanates only or principally from human relationships. God has placed it all around us. It is in everything and anything we might experience… It is simply waiting out there for you to grasp it, and all you have to do is reach for it.”
I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to share this otherworldly, Game of Thrones–like footage from Ireland. It turns out the song discovered the timing for me. And that feels true for life as well—when you stop forcing the moment and let the story unfold, beauty arrives right on time.
You’ll hear that truth in the folksy storytelling, in the longing, and in the quiet reason we all dream of escaping into a lifetime of yesterday—where the noise fades, the soul exhales, and what truly matters steps forward.

[Verse 1]
Pack my bags, let the city fade away,
Chasing dreams where the rivers sway,
Mountains high, and the skies so wide,
I find my freedom, yeah, I’ll take that ride.
Every road I travel, every path I roam,
Whispers of the wild, calling me back home.
With my boots worn down and my heart aglow,
Into the wild, I go, into the wild, I go.
[Chorus]
Into the wild I go, where the wildflowers bloom,
With the sun on my face and the stars in my room.
Feel the earth beneath me, the wind in my hair,
Into the wild I go, shedding every care.
[Verse 2]
Singing songs by the campfire’s light,
Old tales and laughter, everything feels right.
The rustle of the leaves, the song of the stream,
Nature’s own symphony, living the dream.
Clouds like cotton, drifting on by,
In the arms of the forest, I let out a sigh.
No more city worries, no heavy load,
Into the wild, I go, this is my road.
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
Chasing sunsets, catching fireflies,
The world is a canvas, painted with skies.
And when the dawn breaks, with colors so bright,
I find my way home, in the morning light.
With each step I take, I’m finally free,
Living this moment, just nature and me.
[Verse 3]
So here’s to the wild, to the stories untold,
To the campfire dreams and the hearts that are bold.
With every adventure, I’ll cherish and hold,
Into the wild I go, where life is gold.
And when I look back, at the life that I’ve known,
I’ll carry the wild, the spirit I’ve grown.
[Chorus]
[Outro]
Into the wild, I go, with a heart full of grace,
Finding my spirit in this beautiful place.
Into the wild I go, my soul starts to soar,
In nature, I’m home, forevermore.
