Here's a group of spectators at the 1925 Cowboy's Reunion Rodeo in Las Vegas, NM, USA. This was the first year the new stadium was used. From the Mitzie Studio Collection. The bottom negative was damaged sometime in the last century.

I've been making the Natillas for a while. Trying to perfect the process. Nutmeg is the only ingredient that's optional for me. I tried a couple of times to brown the sugar but you have to stir and watch it with no room for error. I tried brown sugar but no go.
Michelle loves this dessert and at least I'm feeding her milk and eggs. It works as a great bribe when needed. The cookbook was written by Margarita C de Baca Martinez, the mother of Donaldo "Tiny" Martinez".
