One family member named JJ Mae, who lives alone with her cat in Northern California, has been putting pen to paper all her life. Several years ago, the family discovered a large shoebox full of sayings and quotes she had written with innuendo, whimsical play on words, and thought-provoking messages. The family collected these quotes, created surreal visions for them and founded Original Quote Pain

tings LLC. Then a search began all over the country for an artist who could make these visions come to life in quality oil paintings. The effort was worth it when Dan Budde from Clinton, Iowa was found. Dan has been a commission artist for over 30 years. His use of color and lighting is stunning, and his talent seemed endless. Two officers of the company flew to Iowa and met with Artist Dan. It was the start of an artistic collaboration like no other, producing some of the most unique work ever created.
