“Blue Mondays” 18” by 36” acrylic on gallery wrapped deep canvas. Available now at in Eunice Louisiana. Stepping my toe into the art market in Louisiana has been difficult. But I am finally getting my footing. I’m finally meeting other artists and art lovers. After being in Laurel Ms for so many years, I had a good client base and many many artist friends. Now, I am at a new chapter in my life. I was blessed to find a person that adores me as much as I adore him. I truly believe it was God who brought us together because he saved me as much as I saved him. We both have been through unspeakable traumas each different but each one with pain beyond comprehension. I am blessed to find such a genuine loving man. Soon, my last name with change. We are engaged to be married. I’ve been told by multiple artists NOT to change my name because it’s my brand and it will kill my business. It is my belief that women should be able to keep their name or change their name and let our work speak for itself. In the coming few months, you won’t see “Fine Art By Amy Luker” anymore. You will see “Fine Art by Amy Ardoin”. Please help me prove those other artists wrong. Like and share my posts. Prove that a female artist can change her last name and still succeed in her passion. Laurel Mississippi will always have a huge place in my heart.
