🌟 Huge THANK YOU to our amazing Ms. Katie for stepping in and teaching classes at Skinderella’s Wonderland Art Collective while I’m out of town! 💕🎨
She absolutely knocked it out of the park, and these talented kiddos did SUCH a fantastic job!! From colorful butterflies 🦋 to optical illusion hand art ✋♟️, creativity was overflowing all day long!

It makes my heart so happy knowing our little artists are still creating magic, learning new techniques, and having fun together at the gallery. 💫
Thank you, Ms. Katie, for bringing the patience, kindness, creativity, and FUN today, and thank you to all the wonderful families who came out to create with us! 🩷✨

Although I am on vacation in California for a funeral 😔 both classes tomorrow are still on! Ms. Katie McCune will be stepping in to guide 2 very cool lessons! 😊 I will be adding an additional lesson to both classes though, just for funsies! See you all next week!

🗑️✨ THROWBACK TIME ✨🗑️

Back in 2017, I had the absolute honor of being selected by the community as part of the City of Huntington Beach’s “Dumpsters on Parade” public art project in Huntington Beach, California 🌴🎨
Meet… 👹💚 The Garbage Ghouls 💚👹

What started as a crazy fun idea turned into:
🖌️ A fully hand-painted dumpster art installation
🎉 A parade down Main Street
📰 Newspaper and LA Times coverage
🏅 A Commendation Award from the Mayor
👧 A core memory with my daughter
🌎 And a piece of public art that is STILL sitting on Main Street today, being seen by millions of visitors every year 🤯

The whole concept behind the piece was playful and silly on the surface, colorful little trash monsters yelling “FEED US!”, but it also carried a message about keeping our beaches and city clean 🌊♻️

Honestly… public art projects like this are some of my favorite things to be part of. Art has this incredible ability to turn even something as ordinary as a dumpster into a conversation piece that makes people smile.

Still can’t believe my goofy little Garbage Ghouls are living their best life by the Huntington Beach Pier all these years later 😆💙

It has been such an honor to design the new patriotic banners for the downtown area of LeClaire ❤️🤍💙

I volunteered over 20 hours on this project as a way to give back to a community of wonderful people, fellow business owners, and friends who have welcomed both me and my business with open arms from the very beginning.

This town has truly become something special to me, and being able to contribute even a small piece to the beauty and spirit of LeClaire means more than I can say.

I sincerely hope everyone enjoys the banners as much as I enjoyed creating them. Thank you for continuing to support local artists, local businesses, and the heart of this incredible community! 🇺🇸🤠🦅🦬⚓️
