Le Mars Arts Center The Le Mars Arts Council and its Arts Center are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. "To engage the mind and inspire the spirit through the arts."

The Le Mars Arts Council Arts Center was built in 1903 with funds from industrialist-financier Andrew Carnegie. The building, dedicated in 1904, was originally the home of the Le Mars Public Library, housing 3,885 books. The Arts Center building was placed on the National Historic Register in 1979. The Le Mars Arts Center features a stunning gallery for local, regional, national, and international

Ice Cream Days Festival is here and the Le Mars Arts Center is ready to celebrate!

🍦Every Day: Newly stocked pottery to paint in the studio: fun creative activity for the whole family! Always available during our open hours.

🍦Thursday: Opening Reception on Thursday, 4-6pm for our TWO new exhibits: "Luminous" and "Legacy". It's always FREE to view the artwork, enjoy refreshments, and cool off in our beautiful historic building.

🍦Friday: FREE ACTIVITY: Create your own "Surreal Sundaes" with our team at the Olson Event Center 3-6pm.

🍦Saturday: Stop in after the parade, or before the concert. We will be OPEN 10am-4pm!
