Colorado Mountain History Collection, Lake County Colorado The Colorado Mountain History Collection is a vast collection of various media chronicling the rich history of Leadville and Lake County, Colorado.

The collection was established in 1976 under a joint agreement by Lake County Public Library and the Lake County Civic Center Association. The collection consists of books, periodicals, manuscripts, maps, photographs, microfilm, microfiche, business and fraternal organization ledgers, and other documents that record the unique history of Leadville and the surrounding Colorado mountain country from the earliest times to the present.
