Hey friends! As you might have noticed, I’m making some changes here at Green Anchor Studios! I’ll be changing the name of my shop to HAVEN Home & Art, but my studio will still operate under the name Green Anchor Studios. I’ve reopened my Etsy shop until I can get a new website up and running. I spend most of my social media time over on Instagram, so if you’re not following me there, please do so! My handle is shay.ballew.artist. I’ve been busy creating over the past couple of months and done a couple of markets, but still trying to sell art and vintage items on social media and Etsy! I have some beautiful new art pieces available and lots of cool vintage pieces, if you’re still shopping for Christmas gifts! Although I didn’t have as much traffic as I would have liked at my pop up market last Saturday, it was good to have everything set up visually in my studio. I’m still figuring it all out, y’all. Constantly changing things and constantly creating and always looking for vintage treasures. I refuse to stop. I refuse to give up. I’ll just keep failing forward. It’s very clear to me that God wants me to keep keepin’ on. He won’t let me quit all this and just go get a normal job, even though we’re struggling financially and that seems like the “right thing to do”. Nope. He said “I planted these dreams and desires in you for a reason and purpose! I created you to create! I see your struggles, I’ve watched you try and try again. Your hard work will pay off. Just trust me with the how and when. Be faithful to pursue the end goal…”! I’ve never been a high achiever so it’s my nature to want to just give up, throw in the towel and say “it’s not worth it” when things get too hard or don’t go as planned. But, I’m giving it all I’ve got and I’m going to just. Keep. Going.
