119. Herbert Kluge designed this magnificent soldier nutcracker that was produced in the mid-20th century. He measures a striking 17 inches with his elegant tall hat.

New into our museum is a jigsaw puzzle which is a replicate of the famous poster that we have hanging in our giftshop. It's 18x24 and a very easy 550 pieces. The retail is $22.

In our museum giftshop, we have a brand new book written by local author, Kate Norland. It's a wonderful story that starts in the North Pole and ends in our own Leavenworth. The illustrations and story text are amazing that features literally everything our town has to offer. It's hardcover and retails for $28 and would make a wonderful addition for Christmas!

118. This elephant was crafted by Anri in the Groeden valley of northern Italy. A splendid example of a “good luck elephant” with his tightly upward curled trunk. It was carved in the early 20th century.

117. This charming Pierrot, playing his mandolin, is from Austria. It was carved of Fruitwood in 1890. To crack a nut, the cape is lifted revealing the cavity for the nut, and it also supports the figure to stand.
