The reception of our art show, "Five Artists Four Generations" at the Wilkes Art Gallery in N Wilkesboro on July 8th was exciting and well done. For those of you who can't make it to the show, NC weekend filmed it and did some interviews there and at my studio. You will be able to see it on UNC-TV Thurs Aug 8th at 9:00 PM and Fri Aug 9th at 8:30 pm. The show will hang until Sept 14th. The summer gallery hours are 10:00-3:00 Tues -Fri. Additional hours can be arranged by appointment. Call 336-667-2841. I will be sitting at the gallery one day a week and will give special tours telling some of the stories behind this show.

Shirley Story will be having a show titled "Five Artist Four Generations" at the Wilkes Art Gallery in North Wilkesboro. The opening reception will be June 7th and will hang until July 20th. Shirley and her daughter Lynn, a full time artist , are busy organizing and framing the art work from Shirley's family. They are using their work along with work from her mother, grandmother, and grandfather. They will be showing over 170 pieces of work. They hope you can come enjoy the show and the story of a family who loves to create.
