Most of his collectors are Berkshire County visitors and second home owners from the Atlantic seaboard. He has received acclaim in a variety of East Coast Media outlets

, and his Sculpture Garden has been named "a must see in the Berkshires" by The Los Angeles Times. Tom has received many honors and accreditation for his abilities. He was honored as the first recipient of the Annual Apples to Art Award in 2007. He has gotten a lot of attention from the local press and an image of one of his metal chairs was selected to appear on the cover of a Canadian Text Book. Tom enjoys meeting new people, eating healthy, and making jokes. Tom has recently beaten Cancer and has a new lease on life. August 2, 2020 - Washington, MA - The Farm

Sometime back around 40 years ago, someone created this giant clam looking thing and I ended up with it. No idea who created it, or how I ended up with it. But, I wanted to say "Thank You" and never really got around to it.

We just moved him into the garden - Nothing against gnomes but this garden clam (as it has become) is just so freaking good. He's lasted 40 years outdoors (okay well insects have done a little surgery) unmolested in the Berkshires through the heat of summer and the cold of winter, and whatever in-between.

He now guards the garden against invasive species.

Some have suggested that this is more frog like than clam... The artist obviously took some liberties, adding frog like eyes, and legs from an unknown species. But, this is definitely inspired by "The Tale of Reuben Clamzo and His Strange Daughter in the Key of A." Therefore, altho mythic in its appearance, his clam like nature is unmistakable.
