Museum of the Great Plains Wichita County Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation of Wichita County's rich historic

All of the museums are operated by the Wichita County Historical Society and dedicated to the preservation of Wichita County's rich historical past. Our museums welcome visitors of all ages, School Groups, Senior Citizens and the Plains museum is handicap accessible. At this time we have four (4) sites, the Museum of the Great Plains in Leoti, Santa Fe caboose and depot east of the main building, the Washington Ames House Museum, and the Selkirk Hand Dug Well.
