The Lewisburg Children's Museum opened Saturday, September 16, 2017 on the 2nd floor, east wing of the old high school building. This 9,000+ square foot space holds 15 exhibits and 9 rooms geared toward children ages 12 and under.

🚂💡 Meet the minds behind America's biggest ideas! 💡🚂

Join us on Thursday, July 9 from 10 AM–12 PM for Voices of Innovation, a special living history event celebrating America's 250th anniversary.

Throughout the museum, families will have the opportunity to meet historical innovators, learn about their inventions and discoveries, ask questions, and hear firsthand how their ideas helped shape our country.

It's history, STEM, storytelling, and hands-on learning all rolled into one unforgettable experience!

🌟 A calmer way to play, explore, and connect. 🌟

Join us for our first Sensory Friendly Morning of the summer on Monday, June 23 from 9:00–10:30 AM at the Lewisburg Children's Museum.

Designed for children with sensory sensitivities, autism spectrum disorders, developmental differences, and their families, this special morning offers a quieter, lower-stimulation museum experience before we open to the public.

Families can enjoy:
✨ Museum play at their own pace
✨ A sensory-friendly craft activity
✨ Reduced attendance and a calmer environment
✨ Opportunities to connect with other families

This event is free thanks to the generous support of the Susquehanna Valley United Way.

Children will enjoy meeting princesses, participating in hands-on STEM activities inspired by castles and knights, creating royal crafts, enjoying treats, and exploring the museum with fellow members of the kingdom.
