Wow !! Finally spring is here. We willbe selling books at the Spring Extravaganza Craft Sale On May 13 and 14 It's going to be a huge sale for Mother's Day weekend. See you there.

Both my grandson Kenny and I have been sick so book sales didn't happen. We had Covid over Thanksgiving (soup for dinner) and were still sick during the Christmas Extravaganza, plus snow and ice, so we did not attend. I really hated to miss it. We are both fine now and looking for the next big sale in the spring. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year

We have canceled our book sale at the Spring Extravaganza outside at the Fair Bldg this weekend due to rain. There will be more sales in the summer with better weather. Ripples of a Lie has been included in the Suggested Summer Reading addition to the Lewiston Tribune coming out May 8th. so that is great news. I will keep you posted about the next book sale.

As I mentioned before some union men had gotten together with their friend, well known union attorney, Larry Hildes, and then contacted me in hope to overturn the illegal conviction of the 8 innocent men sent to prison after the Centralia incident in 1920. As we gathered more and more facts and solid proof that we could do this the excitement grew. Sadly now I need to let you know that our wonderful attorney, Larry Hildes, died unexpectedly at Thanksgiving. I am so sad for his family and for all of us.

Hi Everybody !! Grandson, Kenny, and I were selling books at the annual Christmas Extravaganza in Dec. The weather was great and we sold 15 books over two days and talked to a zillion people. I do love it when people who have bought the book before come back to say Hi and tell me about it. That is always a fun craft sale. Not sure when or where our next sale will be. It depends on the virus and the weather. Right now we are snowed in.

The Covid virus has not been good for book sales but things are starting to open up again now. Some union men from the Seattle area have contacted me and plan to put things in motion to get a reversal of sentencing" for the Centralia prisoners. We've tried everything else through the years, maybe this will work. I'll keep you posted.

With the book stores closed, fairs and sales, book club meetings, and summer events all cancelled due to the virus only the on-line book sellers like Amazon are selling any books this summer. The Raspberry Festival is also closed for next week. So far we are still hoping to have the usual Christmas Extravaganza at the Fair Bldg in Dec. In the meantime there is still the two documentary's and a play in progress and I am still selling books by mail

We had fun selling books at the Christmas Extravaganza last weekend. The snow and ice I was dreading didn't happen and we had a lot of shoppers. Talked to friends old and new and sold several books. I'm always pleased when people who have read the book come by to tell me they loved it or to buy more for gifts. Yaaaaaaaaa
🥰

November 11th 1920 was the 100th anniversary of the Centralia conspiracy which occurred on the first Armistice Day after WWI. A committee of 134 people formed to discuss and decide what to do with the intent to "solve once and for all the truth of what happened that day." After a year of yelling and fighting they were not able to agree on anything. About six people knew the truth of who shot who and who shot first, and what it was really about. The rest stuck by the Centralia tradition of lies and cover-up. Nothing was accomplished and nothing has changed. How sad.
