Historical Association of Lewiston and Museum The Historical Association of Lewiston is committed to preserving and promoting Lewiston's rich heritage.

The Association operates the Lewiston Museum at 469 Plain Street, Lewiston, New York. Open Tues-Sat. 1-5 in June thru August and by appointment. The Museum is open during the summer months - June, July and August, however we will make arrangements to do private tours anytime during the year! Just call the office - we do have office hours all year round. If we don't answer, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. We also have our Museum Store online at historiclewiston.org - we can send your gift anywhere or you can pick it up here at the office!

Last Monday we gave away our 9th annual scholarship to Arielle Leighton of the Tuscarora Nation. She is the mother of three children and is presently arrendimg the University of Buffalo as a business major. In the picture you will notice several wearing orange pins, . I made 40 of these orange pins for the occasion to bring awareness of the abused and missing native children from the American boarding schools which attempted to erase Native American history and culture and also to be aware that up to 1000 Native American women still go missing every year. If anyone would like a pin to wear, I have 10 left at the museum. You can stop in anytime to claim one.

👻 A little history. A little mystery. A hauntingly good Friday night.

Join the Historical Association of Lewiston and Lewiston Museum on Friday, October 16 at 7 p.m. for a reading and talk with Michelle Kratts of the Lewiston Public Library.

Admission is free, and light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited, so come early and bring a friend who loves a good ghost story! 🦇
