The Association operates the Lewiston Museum at 469 Plain Street, Lewiston, New York. Open Tues-Sat. 1-5 in June thru August and by appointment. The Museum is open during the summer months - June, July and August, however we will make arrangements to do private tours anytime during the year! Just call the office - we do have office hours all year round. If we don't answer, please leave a message a

nd we will return your call as soon as possible. We also have our Museum Store online at historiclewiston.org - we can send your gift anywhere or you can pick it up here at the office!

Paul Lymburner - Bruce Sutherland Outstanding Contribution Award: Paul will be honored for his exceptional volunteer service in modernizing the Lewiston Museum's technical systems, assisting with the digitization of its archives, and developing a partnership with the Western New York Library Resource Council. His work preserves the museum's historic collections by making them more accessible to researchers, historians, and the public. In addition, he is heading up our transition to a new website host.

Thank you to all our sponsors that contributed to another successful Bruce Sutherland Golf Tournament. If you love the Historical Association, please support our sponsors. They are the reason we can keep the museum open and provide a place for Lewiston history to be kept.

On another note I have to apologize to our two major dinner and lunch sponsors Deal Real-estate and Coppins Service Center for not recognizing them with signs on each table.

A big thank you to Pete&Tina Coppins for the golf bag with beverages and to Aaron Rotella owner of The Spicey Pickle who donated a buffet for 15 people.

And finally to all our volunteers who made the tournament run smoothly. Thank you for your time and service all day.

We enjoyed having Grand Island Schools 4th Grade here at the Museum this week, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. Tom Collister our curator discussed and asked questions of the students regarding the book -"Freedom Crossing" by Margaret Goff Clark! And all were given a "whirlligig" or spinner for participating! They come every year and get smarter each year!
