Are you looking for a relaxing, fun, and free activity to do with friends during Short Term? Look no further! The Bates Museum of Art welcomes all current Short Term students to partake in our Bates Creates activity from 3-5pm, tomorrow afternoon. We will be viewing Marsden Hartley’s Pressed Flowers, and then we will make our own pressed flower artworks. All materials will be provided. Meet us in the museum’s lower gallery tomorrow! “The Marsden Hartley Legacy Project: The Complete Paintings and Works on Paper” announces the highly anticipated launch of its website in association with Bates College Museum of Art. The first comprehensive catalogue of artworks by acclaimed modernist painter Marsden Hartley (1877-1943) is now free and publicly accessible online at www.marsdenhartleylegacy.org.
