Mike Egan reminds us that America is more than a place—it is a collection of stories, journeys, and shared experiences.

As our nation approaches its 250th birthday, this handcrafted found wood wall sculpture titled "America 250" ($490), measuring 22" x 13", invites us to reflect on the many paths that have shaped who we are.

The silhouette of the United States becomes both map and memory, holding your personal treasures that speak to history, family, travel, and the everyday objects that connect us across generations.

Introducing woodworker Alex Tootle!

ArtHouse Kentucky is pleased to welcome Alex to our family! Alex’s finely crafted wood inlay pens look great, write smoothly, and are made from Kentucky bourbon barrels—-an ideal gift or souvenir for lovers of the bluegrass!

About the Artist:

“Alex was born and raised in Berea, Kentucky on the knee of his grandfather, an esteemed watercolor artist. Alex didn’t discover his love for woodworking until 2015, when he began working closely with the other members of a woodworking retail store who quickly took him under their wings. He was almost immediately blown away by the beauty and elegance of the various species of wood and their origins, and began his own pen turning business. Alex is a veteran of the Army National Guard, and hopes to go to college to study Dendrochronology. His dream is to continue his passion with wood and trees for the rest of his life. “
