Underhill Pottery

Underhill Pottery Underhill Pottery Stacey Underhill’s passion for pottery and the arts began early during her teenage years.

Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Stacey has established a reputation as one of the most prestigious and talented potters of her time. Her unique style and creativity has earned her the respect of her peers and captivated her clients. After building her first home in 2001, Stacey purchased her first kiln and potter’s wheel and built an art studio in her garage. “I would have strangers drive

by; they would sit in their car and watch me work on my wheel,” Stacey says. This self-taught potter using porcelain as her choice of clay, makes a wide variety of pieces including wine chillers, clocks, fountains, dishes and urns. Her work has been displayed in the Loudon House and in many private collections. She has volunteered at local high schools and churches and helped students nurture their love for the arts. When she is not volunteering or working in her studio, you can normally find Stacey growing peppers or feeding the raccoons in her backyard.
