Painting Paradise Art Studio in the Puhi Industrial Center

Please join me on Wednesday, September 16 at 11am for a gentle, joy‑filled art “therapy” session. I’ll be sharing a playful watercolor technique using actual bubbles to create dreamy, colorful backgrounds. It’s simple, relaxing, and absolutely anyone can do it, even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before.
Let’s spend a little time together snacking, sipping coffee, talking story, painting, and and trying to get back to a sense of "normal" in a creative, joyful, healing space.

This mixed media leaf printing class uses real leaves to create colorful prints with watercolor washes and acrylic pen accents. It’s an easy, playful process where students experiment with layers, shapes, and bright island-inspired colors to make vibrant nature‑themed artwork.

Bird of Paradise in Watercolors $50
In this class, we will explore luminous washes, confident brushstrokes, and the playful dance between water and pigment that gives watercolor its irresistible charm to create the colorful and exotic Hawaiian bird of paradise flower.
