Blackstone Valley Historical Society

Blackstone Valley Historical Society History of the Blackstone Valley in Rhode Island BVHS has its headquarters on Old Louisquisset Pike in Lincoln.

There are 3 buildings on the property:

A 202 year old Toll House, North Gate, which was built for the Tool Keeper of the Pike,

The 1921 Lime Rock Grange Fire Station, and

A reconstruction of the Original Arnold’s Lonsdale Bakery.

BVHS will be open for Great Road Day on Sept. 26 from 11 to 4. Please wear a mask.

Northgate and Arnold's Original Lonsdale Bakery will be open to visitors. A folk art dollhouse made by Claire Boutiette of Manville will be on display.

The exhibit will be showcasing the cemetery restoration undertaken by Ken Postle and Greg Duhamel.
