Prairie Horizons Studio for the Creative Arts Prairie Horizons has officially closed its doors in Kansas and moved to Lincoln Maine!

With much sadness I am announcing the permanent closing of our studio in Chapman Kansas as of this Friday Nov 29th 2024. We have truly loved every moment of the time we’ve had here and the service we hope we were able to provide to this community. We will be donating the remainder of art materials and musical supplies to local schools and children. Thankyou so much for your patronage! We will will miss all of our students and supporters dearly as well as this beautiful place that we had the fortune to be able to call home since 2017. Blessings to all.

Our new home in Maine is officially listed as under contract. What a relief. Keep praying that things go smoothly with inspections. We really did get a good deal on the home. So much more at peace now.

God is good. We took a leap of faith and decided to land in Lincoln and the VA Clinic here just got official approval for Tommys job. Now we just have to decide on the right house.

So here’s Lincoln! We’ll be living somewhere here. Going to start the process tomorrow of putting in a bid. Wish us luck...

Change of plans. We decided that we want to move to Lincoln Maine not Augusta. We came here and fell in love with the town. We have three houses on our list of possibilities. I don’t know if they will be our forever homes but at this point in our lives any one of them will work for us and they are all much less expensive than the houses in Augusta. It also allows us to move our moving date from Kansas out a bit so we won’t be as rushed and even if Tommy still has to wait a few weeks for his job confirmation we still can afford the move. Most importantly we are more at peace with this place. I will post pictures soon as I get down and can take some of the lake.

Have two houses in the Augusta Maine area we really love. Well… I really love one and Tommy really loves the other… so it’s going to be tough but truthfully both houses are beautiful. Tomorrow we go to Lincoln Maine to look at house there. We are hoping we’ll be able to make some final decisions about work and homes by the end of the week please continue praying. Maine is beautiful.

We are officially in Maine; our soon to be future home. Got in after midnight and couldn’t get to sleep till after 2. But tonight we are driving down to the coast from Bangor then back up to Augusta from there. Prayers now needed for finding the right home.
