Roller Skating has been part of Lincoln's history for over 60 years. Lincoln has hosted the national competition for quite some time in the summer. Pictured: One of the 1960s competitions held at Pershing Auditorium. Today, the competition occurs -Village sports complex. The competition returns to the capital city from July 7 to August 2.

The National Museum of Roller Skating has many artifacts, but some of our most treasured show the everyday people involved in the sport. The blue polyurethane wheels have "Sure-Grip 100" on the outside wall. Includes AA-1" model precision bearings, manufactured by Hartford Bearing Company ( ), Hartford, CT.
