This is a super neat technique called glass etching! Using hydrofluoric acid you melt away the first layer of glass to reveal a different color underneath. Our glass artist Mary did this piece over 20 years ago! This has been displayed outside through storms, and cold temps! Stained glass is a life long piece of art!
