Peonies are in full bloom. In 1958, on Main Street from Ogden Avenue to School Street was a peony patch. In this Lisle Advertiser photo, peonies are seen behind the elm being felled. Frank Haumesser cultivated the field of peonies and blooms were sold for 25 cents a dozen.

Our club offers an interactive experience where kids can construct their own mini diorama railroad from Kato USA, Inc. and connect with fellow engineers to create a railway landscape. Join us for a new home school program called Spring on the Prairie. Discover how prairie animals and pioneer families got ready for Spring in the 1800s. Try your hand at old-timey fun like sun printing, gardening, and learning about the importance of bees while tasting local honey. This a joint program with the Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum at Benedictine University.

As our Museum Curator, Grace oversees all museum operations at The Museums at Lisle Station Park, including collections, programming, and volunteer management.

Through her work, Grace helps preserve local history while creating engaging experiences that connect the community with Lisle's past.

From caring for artifacts to developing new programs for all ages, Grace brings creativity and dedication to everything she does.

As her supervisor shares, “Grace’s enthusiasm and commitment make a lasting impact on both our organization and the community we serve.”
