Did you know…Once located at the end of Spruce Street next to the Lititz Springs Park, the Park House (right) was a place where visitors could rent rooms when they visited town.
During the summer of 1895, the establishment operated as a saloon and boarding house. Sadly, the structure was eventually torn down in 1957, but for many, the memories still remain.

Once located at the intersection of West Woods Drive and Route 501 (just south of downtown Lititz) was Jerry Hertzler’s gas station, which provided customers with roadside essentials, snacks, fuel, newspapers, coffee, and penny candy.

Did you know…in June, 1937, members of the Lititz Sportsmen Association built this fountain in Lititz Springs Park. It replaced the bubblers and troughs which were once located at the headend at the springs.

The fountain was made to mimic the look of a stone well and was placed about where the old bandstand once stood. Six total “bubblers” were situated around the top.
