On May 6, 1905, Myrtle Louise Stonesifer-King (Louise Howard, Halo Meadows) was born in Littlestown, Pennsylvania to Dr. Howard A. and Etta S.F. (Crouse) Stonesifer. An actress, playwright, director, authoress, composer, philosopher, dancer, singer, and poet; her multifaceted life took her from the Big Apple to Hollywood, and eventually back to the community she affectionately called “the greatest little town in the world”.

Her legacy continues to inspire and make a positive impact on the world, a true testament to her zest for life! Join us in honoring her living legacy by making someone smile or showing kindness to a stranger this week. Remember, a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet. Simply use the hashtag when you post. We can’t wait to see the compassion you inspire in your community!

⭐️ SEE YOU ALL THIS EVENING!!! ⭐️
———————————————————-
THE BITTLE BROS. & The M.L.S. King Living Legacy Guild® cordially invite you to The 13th Annual Littlestown Living Legacy Awards™ this evening, Saturday November 15, 2025 @ 5 PM in Redeemer's UCC Sanctuary. We will kick off the evening with a lovely reception, a meet and greet with the honorees, including delectable refreshments!

It is our deepest pleasure to announce that this year’s deserving recipients are…………
(drum roll please) 🥁 🥁 🥁............
Bev Kebil & Dr. Jacqueline Elder Murren! These two individuals have been chosen based on their many years of dedication and devoted service to the Littlestown Community! Both Bev & Jacie are Littonians through and through, calling Littlestown their home for over 70 years. They are committed to serving our community and have contributed greatly to Littlestown’s success in many ways.

Bev was highly involved in everything Littlestown since her marriage in 1956. She served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Alpha Fire Company, a charter member and president of the Junior Women’s Club, has served St. Aloysius Catholic Church, and the Littlestown Food Pantry. She was also instrumental in creating awareness and fundraising for cancer research in the early 70s.

Jacie has been involved with the youth of our community since the late 60s. She was Littlestown Recreation Director for many years and organized numerous outdoor events, including water shows at the Littlestown Community Pool. In addition, she is a greatly admired educator in the area, making a significant impact on countless students whose lives she positively affected. She was an integral part of the LHS Community Relations Committee for the Bolt Boosters & also serves St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Both of these ladies are extremely humble and selfless, but it is time to recognize their many good works. Littlestown is truly a part of their soul and it’s a huge part of their story. Congratulations, Bev & Jacie, we can’t wait to celebrate the two of you on your special night!

Want to thank them in person for their incredible dedication to our community? In what ways have they positively impacted your lives & our community? How does one leave a living legacy? COME, SEE, LEARN what it means to be a Littlestown Legend!
