On May 6, 1905, Myrtle Louise Stonesifer-King (Louise Howard, Halo Meadows) was born in Littlestown, Pennsylvania to Dr. Howard A. and Etta S.F. (Crouse) Stonesifer. An actress, playwright, director, authoress, composer, philosopher, dancer, singer, and poet; her multifaceted life took her from the Big Apple to Hollywood, and eventually back to the community she affectionately called “the greatest little town in the world”.
Her legacy continues to inspire and make a positive impact on the world, a true testament to her zest for life! Join us in honoring her living legacy by making someone smile or showing kindness to a stranger this week. Remember, a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet.
