I've been taking care of my mental health for a while now. Getting use to a new job and balancing life. Treating my depression, anxiety, and adhd. So simple things like Crows gathering around my house finding it safe to eat and hang. Kinda just makes my day. Here's to the murder that has said "yeah your good people." Thank you for that.

"The Taking "is turning out so much better then I could hope for. BUT I have a question for all of you.! I like to put words into my works before I call it done. This time I want to overlay the void. SO I CALL ON YOU ALL! What are some words or phrases that you feel have been taken from you and used against you? Common ones that play in the back of my head are "living in a fantasy" and "Do more." These are things that hurt but at the same time, they are things I tell myself to keep me going. "You can do more."Your life is a fantasy." Things that can be both positive and negative depending on who is saying them or where we heard them.

Been over a year into a depression that prevented me from creating. Got a job outside of art to help. Took away all my energy preventing me from art. Lost that job made the depression worse. Made me feel worthless and like I can't contribute with anything. I have been doing thia art thing for almost 15 years now. And even with shows, online permotiong and hiring profressionals to help. It has gone no where. My newest peice is the one that has taken me out of this last depression. Im calling it "the Taking" ment to invoke the feeling of spiraling while something is always waiting with hands open to take more from you. Definitely not done but I feel better getting it out.
