The museum will be open 2-12-20 at 10 a.m.

We've given the museum an inside fact-lift and the paint is drying! New Re-opening date is Wednesday, February 12. Come visit and bring your guests!

Jay was the first featured artist at Western Trappings on The Llano. His wonderful sculptures were instrumental in making our first year memorable. He will be missed! Our condolences to Lynn Contway and family.

DON'T be one of those people who says "I didn't know the show was on!" Visit Western Trappings on The Llano before this week is over to see the wonderful art on display at the Llano County Historical Museum!!! You'll enjoy it and maybe find a Christmas present for someone special. . . Raffle tickets are still available for Ira Kennedy's painting and Patrick Beckman's Water Carrier, too.

The Llano County Historical Museum will be open tomorrow through Saturday for the last few days of Western Trappings on The Llano. Museum Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop by to see all the great Western art by our 2019 artists.

November 2 will be the last day for the 2019 Western Trappings Exhibition and Sale at the Llano County Historical Museum. Be sure to stop by the museum to take a last look at the art before it comes down, and while you are there, be sure to get some raffle tickets for the items created by Ira Kennedy and Patrick Beckman pictured here.

Western Trappings on The Llano sponsors a raffle each year in conjunction with our exhibition and sale. Two of our artists in this year's show have contributed to this year's raffle. We'll show you Ira Kennedy's 16x24 gallery-wrapped canvas called "Before the Flood" today. And watch for tomorrow's post on Patrick Beckman's stonewear pottery! Tickets for the raffle are $5 each and are available at the Llano County Historical Museum. The drawings will be at the conclusion of the event on November 2.
