In 1921 a small group of concerned citizens, dedicated to preserving local history, founded the Clinton County Historical Society (CCHS). In the ensuing years CCHS has grown tremendously with the continued goal of preserving the County’s treasures, sharing them with the public through free programs and special displays., community events, history camps and programs for children. The main offices

are in the Heisey House Museum, 362 East Water Street. We offer research facilities and resources on people, places and things in our County’s history. The museum and grounds are available for rental for private meetings, parties and events. Please call us for rates and availability.
