Join USU First Lady Camille Mortensen for Beyond the Book, a quarterly gathering where great books spark meaningful conversations and connection. This month, read "Stitched" by New York Times bestselling author, Eli McCann and gather to explore timeless themes through discussion, art from the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art collection, and insights from guest experts.

The next gathering will take place at the 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗘𝗰𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁 on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰 from 𝟲:𝟯𝟬-𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗺. The event is free and open to all, but prior 𝗥𝗦𝗩𝗣 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱. ⁣

Kick off spooky season with a creative twist! Join us at NEHMA on Friday, October 2, from 5-8 PM for pumpkin carving, gallery trick-or-treating, and surprise prizes hidden throughout the museum. Explore the galleries, get inspired by art, and spend time with friends. Pumpkins and carving supplies provided.

Join us Friday, September 18 from 11 am - 2 pm for The Creative Reset: A Weekly Art Break at NEHMA!

Each week on Fridays from 11 am-2 pm, take time for yourself to explore NEHMA artworks in the Object Study Room of the Wanlass Center for Art Education and Research, and try a new art-making process inspired by artists in the collection.

Select Fridays are wellness days! Make zines and hand-made books using collage, mixed media, printing, drawing, and painting. Led by Susie Andruk, ATR-BC. Wellness Dates: September 11, September 18, September 25, and October 2.

NEHMA Curator and Head of Academic Initiatives, Danielle Stewart, PhD, will be speaking at this week's Logan Library America 250 Lecture!

Join her on September 19 at 4 PM in the Logan Library Community Room B to hear about Cache Valley artists, including Calvin and Irene Fletcher, John Henri Moser, and Everett Thorpe, among others, with a focus on how these artists helped shape regional identity.
