PIONEER DAY CLARIFICATION!

We’ve seen a little confusion circulating about food at Pioneer Day, so we want to make sure everyone has the correct information before Saturday!

Pioneer Day is a FREE event! Admission is free, and you can enjoy all of the activities, demonstrations, music, games and history we have planned at no cost.

🌭 Food, however, is not free. L-Town Pizza Cones & More will be joining us with a limited menu available for purchase throughout the event.

Join us Saturday, September 26 from 12:00–6:00 p.m. for an afternoon filled with history, hands-on fun, and activities for the whole family!

Enjoy tomahawk throwing, rope making, blacksmithing, traditional games, music, exhibits, and more!

🎨 Calling all artists! 🎨

The Madison County Historical Society is excited to host an Art Show during Pioneer Day on Saturday, September 26!

🖼️ Anyone is welcome to exhibit! Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to share their creativity with our community.

📌 Artwork must be dropped off by September 20 so we have time to properly label and prepare each piece for display.

📌 Artwork may be picked up after September 27.

Whether you paint, draw, photograph, or create in another medium, we’d love to showcase your work!

Come help us celebrate local art, local talent, history, and community during Pioneer Day! ❤️🎨

Please share and help us spread the word to our local artists!

What a great day at the Madison County Historical Society Museum! ☀️⚾

The Muffins & Diamonds took on our amazing local business owners, and it was a 1860’s vintage game full of laughs, community spirit, and friendly competition. Events like this are what make our small town so special—bringing everyone together to support one another and create lasting memories.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, participate, and enjoy the day with us. We’re so grateful to be part of such a supportive and connected community! A special thank you to our local 4h club for parking cars today.

Already looking forward to the next one! 💙
