Remembering Gary Kildall, creator of CP/M and founder of Digital Research who left us early 50 years ago. Many have said that he could have been the next Bill Gates. Here is some photos out of my PC Collection- as he was a good friend of ACP and helped us move forward during amazing times.....We will be celebrating 50 years since the creation of The BYTE SHOPS, Paul Terrell (and ACP) with Woz support Dec 6-7 in the Bay Area...more later

I had to pass on the celebration at the Computer History Museum yesterday. Not everyone was a winner when they jumped into the PC World back in the early days. This was our effort that failed due to our manufacturer in Taiwan (Mitac) shipping direct to us several thousand at a time and waking up one day and discoverd I could buy the same computer from Mitac USA for almost 50% cheaper....weird times for sure but blessed with so many good memories and people!

QUITE A NICE COLLECTIBLE! NEC APC WITH ALL THE EXTRAS! At 83 had to get help to lift it as it weighs about 90 lbs. 1976 Columbia Data Products created first knock-off of the IBM PC, it founded by William Diaz in Columbia, Maryland. In 1980, Columbia Data Products made some Z80-based computers, most notably their Commander 900 series, which had several models, some of which were multiprocessors and had graphics capabilities. I made several visits to their facility during those days! Just added this one to eBay!

Long story but I set up a PC Company using Mitac in Taiwan. ACP International. This was our second product as we already had the Advanced PC on the market in the USA. Probably made 50 flights (some twice a week) to Taiwan to get this going- what a Great Experience.
