🐵Meet: Wilhelmina Von Sock

🐵 Sockupation: Traditional hearthside bread baker. She uses her large paws to lift heavy sacks of grains, knead massive mounds of sourdough and slide delicate loaves into a brick oven, retrieving them with absolute precision once the crust turns a rich, toasted color. 🍞

🐵Favorite Hobby: Collecting antique cookie jars, with each holding a specific type of cookie! 🍪

🐵Favorite Color: Jade Green - the exact color of a vintage 1950’s stand mixer, which she cherishes.

🇺🇸The Sock Monkey Museum extends our heartfelt congratulations to the newest graduates of the Great Lakes Naval Station! We have the utmost respect for the immense hard work, dedication, and sacrifice this accomplishment represents, and we honor the commitment you’ve made.

As you celebrate, we want to formally welcome all graduates and their families to stop by the museum – we offer free admission to the graduates and our 15% military discount.

By popular request, naval uniforms are now officially in stock for our custom stuffable sock monkey, Burrito 🐵

Whether you’re looking for a fun place to take family photos, a relaxing spot to unwind after the ceremony, or just want to explore a bit of local history, our doors are open to you.

This Memorial Day weekend, as we gather with family and friends, we are taking a moment to look back with gratitude. We honor and remember the brave service members who gave everything to protect our families, our freedom, and our future. Their legacy is woven into the very fabric of our country🇺🇸

🐵 Sockupation: Street Artist in Paris - Pierre loved the thrill of the street, but eventually, the wind kept blowing his beret off and he realized rain is a street artist’s worst enemy.

🐵Favorite Hobby: Cafe Philosopher - He ponders “If a sock monkey loses its stuffing over the decades, or if it is restuffed with new cotton, is it still the same monkey?” Pierre would argue the stuffing is just temporary, not the true essence of the monkey. “If you take cotton from my belly, do I cease to be Pierre? Non. Memories are not held in my fluff, they are woven into my yarn and my red heel smile.”

🐵Favorite Color: Cadmium Red

🐵Favorite Food: Thinly folded crepes drizzled with dark chocolate
