🐒This special sock monkey belong to Elaine, who shared that it brought her comfort, companionship, and countless memories throughout her childhood and well into her adult years🥰

When Elaine decided it was time to part with her beloved sock monkey, she brought it to Laura, a local antique dealer. Recognizing that this cherished companion had a story worth preserving, Laura generously donated it to the Sock Monkey Museum so its story could continue to be shared.

We are honored to preserve not only this treasured sock monkey, but also the memories, friendship, and comfort it provided over the years.

In honor of Elaine and the special place this monkey held in her heart, we have given it her name. We are also incredibly grateful to Laura for finding us and ensuring that this sweet sock monkey found a forever home at the museum.

Thank you, Elaine and Laura, for helping us preserve another piece of sock monkey history 🧦🐵❤️

🐵 A room full of adorable sock monkeys!

🥳Yesterday, Caitlin celebrated her birthday at the Sock Monkey Museum with loved ones from both near and far. Everyone rolled up their sleeves, got creative, and made some truly wonderful sock monkeys. From the first stitch to the final smile, each monkey turned out absolutely adorable and full of personality❤️

Great job, everyone—you should be proud of your sock monkey-making skills!! 🐵👍
