We will not be opening our beach this season. With all the additional requirements in addition to the normal dept. of Health requirements, we don’t feel able to effectively comply. This is to provide maximum safety to guests. The dock and beach are open for sitting but social distancing is required 6- 8feet between unrelated parties. The town beach is open with all the proper protocols.
Hopefully we’ll go back to normal next season

Before this all started I purchased new packaged games of "Twister" for each of the cottages.

Update on Information for guests
1. Requirements for Contact Tracing will require guests to provide name and address for all members of their party. An email will be sent out to quests before arrival.
2. All guests will receive check in documents by email before check in.
3. The common areas issues is evolving but it appears the dock may be fine but we will be asking for proper social distancing. We will Not be putting out Adirondack chairs for the dock. If you want to sit on the dock, please bring folding chairs to do so. This is a sanitizing/cleaning issue.
4. All books, games and puzzles are being removed from the cottages. (we don't have any way of sanitizing them)
Bring board games with you or we will have a small amount of board games and puzzles for sale - purely to satisfy guest's needs.
5. The Beach: I have spoken with the town and the town beach will be opening. I am not sure what "Social distancing" will look like there but it will be there. Currently, we have no plan to open our beach. If we do - it would be restricted to use by one related group at a time.

We hope everyone understands - this is all to keep everyone safe and to make everyone comfortable.

Restaurants- All open with take out. Phase III is coming

NEW POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Dear Guest(s)

In light of current events, we have pushed opening the cottages back until June 15th. 2020. Anyone who had a booking before then has been contacted. As news changes, we may make additional changes. We will be keeping you all updated through our new page (Facebook.com/watersedge8).
We will be adjusting some of our policies and procedures to address quests potential concerns. Below is a list of changes that we are making.
1. There will be more extensive cleaning procedures of cottages. These new procedures will take additional time and we are moving check-in time to 4 PM.
2. All cottages will have two (2) laundry bags in the cottage, we are asking guest to strip sheets and fill one bag with sheets, the other with towels before they leave. Leave the mattress pads on the beds. We will deal with them. Leave the a laundry bags by the door.
3. We will not be providing comforters on the beds but there will be a blanket. If you feel you will need additional blankets please bring them with you.
4. Guests have the option of bringing their own bedding and towels. If that is your intention, please let us know as soon as possible.
All of these measures are aimed at providing continued enjoyment of our cottages and minimizing any concerns.
