Friends in SoCal and Manizales, Colombia: Please join us this coming Tuesday 5/30 for a telematic concert of new, improvisatory music! The concert at UCI is at 5pm in MM 218 (“Mocap”). There is also an audience at the other site, Manizales, where it is part of the Tele-Espacios Activos series on the Festival Internacional de la Imagen. I’ll be performing from Irvine with four ICIT PhD students and Professor Dessen will perform from Colombia. We’ll be playing new compositions we developed over the past two months, including works by myself, Professor Dessen, and four ICIT PhD students. The concert also includes visual content by the creative team in Colombia, directed by Mario Humberto Valencia. (This is an in-person concert, not streaming.)
