These two bands need no introduction if you’ve been around the ska scene the last three decades, but for those who don’t know… This is Hepcat & Ocean 11. Two brilliant bands whose style and sound came as close to the originals 60s ska & rocksteady sound as if it were played by the legends themselves! Seriously, check them out.

A few members of these bands will be joining us on A Steady Beat film to discuss their views and memories about the Los Angeles 90s Ska scene. We are so excited! (Apologies, I couldn’t tag everyone as I don’t know everyones social media accounts) Pls tag yourselves if we missed you.
