The DP for FINDING KUKAN, Ann Kaneko, has directed a documentary called FLICKER IN ETERNITY. She is running a short Indiegogo campaign where you can pre-order the DVD, which tells the story of Stanley Hayami, a Nisei teenager who was incarcerated and drafted during World War II. Please support her.

CHSSC would like to express its deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Tim K. Siu (October 3, 1926 - May 14, 2013)
Dr. Siu was a long time supporter of CHSSC and was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the Chinese American community with our "Golden Spike Award" last year.

A memorial service will be held to honor the life of Dr. Siu:

Where: The Church of Our Savior - 535 Roses Road, San Gabriel, CA 91775.
When: Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 2:00PM

Service will begin at 2pm followed by internment at the San Gabriel Cemetery and a reception at Cleaver Hall on site. Those who do not desire to attend the internment may proceed directly to Cleaver Hall for light refreshments.
