"The perspectives on death presented in The Big Sleep are as diverse as the artists themselves. At the heart of each project, however, is an emphasis on dying not as something to be feared, but part of a natural cycle. Snide Hotel feels like an appropriate venue for this conversation, as artist-run spaces like it have routinely come and gone from Louisville’s art landscape, as if adhering to their own natural order."

Snide Hotel is looking for an initial investment in order to help assure our future goals. All money will go towards rent and utility security, renovations, and other startup costs. Once established, Snide Hotel will operate on a low-cost, self-sufficient model that assures longevity and affordable, at-cost rent for artists.

All we need is a little push to get us rolling. :-)
