Our class embarked upon not only the odyssey of learning to hot cast, but also collaborated to make a 3D visual rendering of The Odyssey! Using hot sculpted elements, freeze n’fuse pieces and found objects, JW has combined them (with hot sandcasting) to make some complex works. It’s all about the different techniques! ✨

Hot casting isn’t always playing in the sandbox, you can also cast onto graphite! ♨️ We had some graphite slabs and carved designs into them to make architectural tiles 🔥 we love all the textures! 😍
