Shown in this picture is the winner of the cookbook cover art contest, Jayden Larchick, his art teacher, Deb Miller, and Donna Trompke, President of the Sherman County Historical Society. Jayden's entry was chosen from entries of 34 Loup City and Litchfield art students. Each student will receive a cookbook for entering the contest. For his efforts, Jayden received a $100 check, a certificate, and a cookbook. The Historical Society would like to thank Mrs. Deb Miller, Loup City Art instructor, and Ms. Allison Varah, Litchfield Art instructor, for guiding the students through this process. They will both receive a cookbook for their efforts. Madison Pazdernik, Loup City, and Jenna Holm, Litchfield, received honorable mention awards. Their artwork will grace the inside pages of the cookbook. Awesome work, Jayden, Maddie, and Jenna. We are proud of you.
