Southern Regional High School AFJROTC Visits the Museum!

On Friday, October 24, 2025, the New Jersey Air Victory Museum welcomed 40 cadets and three instructors from the Southern Regional High School Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) program for a day of hands-on learning and fun. The cadets explored the museum’s aircraft and exhibits while completing a scavenger hunt in teams of four. Some of their clues included finding the jet fighter cockpit visitors can sit in and locating the museum’s “Northrop OQ-19A Drone.” After the tour, the group headed outside for a
leadership challenge known as “The Human Knot,” testing their teamwork and communication skills.
The NJ-931st Cadet Corps, established in 1993, has a proud history of achievement and was recently recognized as a Distinguished Unit with Merit for the 2024–2025 school year. This year, the program includes 77 cadets from Southern Regional High School, Southern Regional Middle School, and Pinelands Regional High School. The museum staff enjoyed hosting this energetic group of future leaders and looks forward to welcoming them back again soon!
