I thought this lesson was going to be boring!! But to my surprise, it has been one of my favorites!!! I love all the dimensions the colors have added to my paintings.

FYI I used the same 4 colors in all 4 paintings.

Abby Candler & I started knitting on June 30th.
My lifelong dream has been to be able to knit stocking like the ones that were knitted for me (& my siblings)
I printed off the patterns as soon as I started to knit. Grandma B, (our lead knitter) encourage me to go ahead and give it a try.
So on July 9, I started knitting stockings.
This afternoon I finished my 3rd one. These three are for Wade Candler, Lisa Candler and Henry. I still need to put their names on them.
I know this isn’t my normal watercolor post, but to me it still part of my art journey.
Never give up on your dreams.
I still have five more to do so all my kids and grandkids can have one…wish me luck!

Yesterday I took my watercolors to Pharsalia to do plein air painting. It was beautiful day!
I also took lots of pictures, so I forsee more Pharsalia inspired paintings in my future.


Wade & Lisa were married there 2 years ago.
