Friends of the museum near Ohio, this Friday and Saturday is the annual Watch Fob Show by the IWFA hosted at Lakeside Sand and Gravel in Mantua, Ohio. It's always a fun show with proceeds going to a good cause. Lakeside Sand and Gravel is home to many pieces of antique heavy equipment which will be operating, and on Saturday Lakeside offers bus tours of their active operations.

One of the new items on display outside at the museum is this dozer blade donated by Verl White and Debbie Fiscus, and painted by Kailyn Ricketts to resemble a scene from the AMAX Ayrshire Mine depicting the Marion 8950 and Bucyrus Erie 3270W draglines as well as a belly-dump coal hauler. Kailyn began painting the blade in September, and the attached photos show its progression through February of this year. Many thanks to Verl and Debbie for the blade, and especially Kailyn for the painting!!
The blade is located beside the Coal History Path at the Museum.
