Museum of Wayne County History

Museum of Wayne County History Founded in 1946 as a nonprofit to preserve and share local history. We love local history! We are open to the public from mid-March to mid-December.

We are located in the old Wayne County Sheriff's family residence, office and county jail with 100s of cool local artifacts from 100s of years ago. Off season we are open by appointment. Our business office is staffed year round. Please call or email us anytime. Happy History Hunting and Fishing!
