Bobby Huellemeier has rediscovered his love for drawing, returning to the roots of his artistic journey. His sketches, raw and inspired, define an evolving artist with an insatiable curiosity. Bobby’s life has been filled with rich experiences. As a chef aboard private rail cars, he brought elegance and flavor to the tables of the fortunate few that dined and traveled under his care. His years as a chef, combining precision with creativity, shaped his approach to life and to art - every detail mattered and beauty was found in the craft.
Bobby’s creations in several mediums are as much a reflection of his modest nature as they are of his immense skill. He approacheshis work with unmatched humility, envisioning himself not as a celebrated artisan, but as someone fortunate to have the ability to express his love for real craftsmanship. He is a master of several crafts, weaving creativity into every aspect of his life. With an intense passion for sculpting and for woodworking, he transforms simple material into extraordinary works of art, each piece imbued with his vision and with his soul.
Bobby is a former resident of Macon now living on Lake Guntersville in Alabama. He attended Mt. DeSales Academy after which he pursued a degree in art from Mercer University which granted him a baseball scholarship. He now divides his time between the two cities.
