Several members of the Madeira Historical Society were recently honored to be hosted at the Bethel Historical Society Museum. The museum is in the former Bethel Municipal Building, taking up two floors of incredible displays. What a great place to visit. while enjoying the drive to an area of Ohio still rural with crops planted all through the area. Pictured: Madeira Historical members Mike Widmeyer, Jana Widmeyer, Doug Oppenheimer, Bob Bartlett, and Carol Heck. The Village and its area citizens are very supportive of this museum. This Sunday is Flag Day, and July 4th is just weeks away. Do you have your flag yet? The Madeira Historical Society has again increased its inventory of flags, and we can take your order by phone, or you can drop off your order and payment in the big mailbox in front of the Miller House. Members of the society will be at the Miller House the next two Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 AM until 4 PM, where you can purchase or pick up your flags. We are also happy to deliver to Madeira addresses. The sale of flag ribbons has been capped at 100, making the ribbon a limited edition. For more information, call 513 561 9069. The society is grateful for the support so far and hopeful that there will be many, many flags displayed in Madeira.
